Josh Groban: Illness, Partner, Wife, Children, Health FAQ

Search for Josh Groban online and the questions start piling up fast: Is he sick? Married? A father? Hiding a twin brother somewhere? The man behind songs like “You Raise Me Up” has been famous long enough that the answers should be easy to find — they aren’t. A return Las Vegas residency announced for October 2026 (FOX5 Vegas) gives the story a fresh hook, but it doesn’t resolve the personal questions.

Albums sold worldwide: more than 35 million ·
Grammy nominations: five ·
Award recognition: Emmy- and Tony-nominated ·
Las Vegas residency: GEMS ·
Known songs: “You Raise Me Up,” “You’re Still You,” “To Where You Are”

Seven facts from the public record, one pattern: the verified biography stays consistent even as online rumors keep changing — as documented in Wikipedia (community-edited reference) and the Las Vegas Review-Journal (Nevada daily newspaper).

What is Josh Groban’s illness?

First, the short answer: there is no verified record of Groban having a current or ongoing illness. The health questions that show up in search are driven mainly by one recurring query — Bell’s palsy — and the record does not back it up the way the rumor mill suggests.

What is Bell’s palsy?

• Bell’s palsy is a temporary weakness or paralysis of the muscles on one side of the face.
• It involves the facial nerve and is not progressive or life-threatening.
• Most people begin to improve within weeks, with full recovery typical within months.

These are general clinical facts, not a diagnosis. In Groban’s case, the important distinction is between a temporary condition and a chronic disease: nothing in the public record suggests the latter.

Has Josh Groban fully recovered?

• No direct interview or official statement confirming a Bell’s palsy diagnosis surfaced in the reporting reviewed here.
• Groban has continued performing, including the full 2025 GEMS residency at Caesars Palace.
• No statement from Groban or his representatives has announced an ongoing health issue.

The clearest health signal is his calendar. The 2025 GEMS run at The Colosseum continued through May 17, 2025 (Las Vegas Review-Journal), and a 2026 return has been booked for October (FOX5 Vegas). A performer dealing with a serious untreated illness does not usually commit to a multi-show Las Vegas residency.

The responsible answer, based on the reporting reviewed for this profile: no documented illness.

What this means: the “illness” question tells you more about search behavior than about Groban’s health. When a performer stays busy, the absence of medical announcements is itself the signal.

What has happened to Josh Groban?

The most useful summary of Groban’s recent career is one sentence: he has moved from album-tour cycles into a Las Vegas residency, with Broadway in between.

What is the GEMS Las Vegas residency?

• GEMS ran at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in 2025.
• It was described as Groban’s first Las Vegas Strip residency (Las Vegas Review-Journal).
• The 2025 run continued through May 17, 2025 (Las Vegas Review-Journal).

For context on how long Caesars has been part of Groban’s story: he attended Celine Dion’s first show at The Colosseum on March 25, 2003 — two decades before he headlined the same room (Las Vegas Review-Journal).

Is Josh Groban touring now?

• No full tour has been announced for 2026; the residency is the announced live focus.
• October 2, 3, 7, 9, and 10, 2026: return dates at The Colosseum (FOX5 Vegas).
• The 2026 program is expected to include fan favorites and songs from a forthcoming album (FOX5 Vegas).

The February 11, 2026 announcement framed the return as a response to demand (FOX5 Vegas), and ticket pages list the venue as The Colosseum at Caesars Palace (Citi Entertainment). His official bio places worldwide album sales at more than 35 million (Wikipedia), and the same promotional materials behind the Las Vegas shows note five Grammy nominations, plus Emmy and Tony nominations (FOX5 Vegas).

The pattern: Groban has built a Las Vegas home base instead of an endless tour schedule — a sustainable setup for a singer whose catalog is built for big rooms.

Who is Josh Groban’s partner now?

There is no confirmed answer to this question in the public record.

Does Josh Groban have a life partner?

• Groban has not publicly confirmed a current life partner.
• Wikipedia’s biography lists Natalie McQueen as a reported partner since 2022 (Wikipedia).
• No recent joint statement from either side confirms the relationship is current.

“Not confirmed” is not the same as “single.” The accurate description is that Groban keeps his private life private, and the reporting reviewed for this profile gives fans no verified update one way or the other.

Is Natalie McQueen still with Josh Groban?

• The reported connection began in 2022, according to biographical listings (Wikipedia).
• Neither Groban nor McQueen has publicly addressed whether the relationship continues.
• The current status is, strictly speaking, unconfirmed.

The online search pattern here is easy to explain: people want a definitive “yes” or “no,” and no definitive statement exists.

The catch: an absence of confirmation is not a denial. But it means any article that states Groban “is with” McQueen right now is going beyond what the verified record shows.

When did Katy Perry date Josh Groban?

How many girlfriends has Josh Groban had?

• There is no official count of Groban’s past relationships.
• Reported relationships include January Jones (2003–2006), Katy Perry (2008), Kat Dennings (2014–2016), and Schuyler Helford (2019–2021) (Wikipedia).
• Wikipedia also lists Natalie McQueen as a reported partner since 2022 (Wikipedia).

So the answer to “when did Katy Perry date Josh Groban” is 2008 — the year cited in biographical summaries of Groban’s dating history.

Who else has Josh Groban dated?

• January Jones, reported 2003–2006.
• Kat Dennings, reported 2014–2016.
• Schuyler Helford, reported 2019–2021.
• Natalie McQueen, reported since 2022.

These names come from the same biographical listings cited above; none has been discussed in detail by Groban himself.

What this means: Groban’s dating history is the least documented part of his public life. Most of it rests on secondary reporting, so treat the dates as approximate rather than contractual.

Does Josh Groban have a wife and children?

No. Groban has never been married, and he has no children (Wikipedia).

Did Josh Groban ever get married?

• No. There is no marriage record, wedding announcement, or spouse named in any credible biography.
• The absence of any marriage record is consistent across the sources reviewed.

Did Josh Groban have a baby?

• No baby announcement has been made by Groban or his representatives.
• No credible pregnancy or birth reporting exists.

“Did Groban have a baby” is a search query, not a news story. It appears to come from general curiosity about his private life, not from any documented event.

The trade-off: privacy creates a vacuum, and the vacuum fills with rumors. Groban’s silence about family matters is his own choice — it is also why these questions keep returning.

Where does Josh Groban live now?

The honest answer: Los Angeles roots, New York stretches, and no confirmed single address in the public record.

What is Josh Groban’s connection to Los Angeles?

• Born in Los Angeles on February 27, 1981.
• His official biography continues to describe him as professionally associated with Los Angeles.

Why does Josh Groban spend time in New York?

• Broadway work brought him to New York, including the 2023 Sweeney Todd revival.
• No reliable source lists a specific current home address in either city.

For a public figure, where he “lives” is usually public record; in Groban’s case, the record is deliberately quiet. That has not stopped real-estate gossip from filling the gap, but none of it is confirmed.

The implication: if you see a headline about Groban “buying a house” somewhere, treat it as a real-estate rumor until his team or a reputable outlet confirms it.

Does Josh Groban have a twin brother?

No. There is no twin brother.

What is known about Josh Groban’s family?

• His parents are Jack and Lindy Groban, named in public biographies (Wikipedia).
• No credible biography mentions a twin sibling.
• No reliable source supports the twin claim.

Who are Josh Groban’s parents?

• Jack Groban and Lindy Groban are the names that appear in public biographies.
• Those names, plus the absence of any twin sibling, are the extent of the verified family record.

The twin rumor appears to be a pure search artifact. It has no footprint in the biographical record reviewed for this profile.

Why this matters: this rumor is a useful test case. It shows how a false detail can circulate long enough to look real, even when no credible source has ever reported it.

Josh Groban timeline: from Los Angeles to The Colosseum

Nine dates, one arc: a Los Angeles-born singer who turned a Caesars Palace stage into a home base.

The arc: from a 2001 debut to a Caesars Palace residency is a long, steady climb. The next marker is already on the calendar.

Confirmed facts vs. what’s unclear

The gap between these two lists explains most of the search behavior around Groban.

The pattern: the confirmed list is short and consistent; the unclear list is longer. That imbalance is the reason the same questions keep appearing in search.

Las Vegas Review-Journal

What the record actually shows

Strip away the search rumors and a consistent picture emerges: a healthy, working singer in his mid-40s, anchored by a Las Vegas residency, with a private life he has kept firmly out of the spotlight. The verified biography is stable — born in Los Angeles in 1981, more than 35 million albums sold, never married, no children, no twin brother. The rumors are the noise around the signal. For fans, the implication is clear: book the confirmed October 2026 Caesars Palace dates, or wait for a tour announcement that, as of this writing, does not exist.
